On 12th March 2016, at the Embassy of Latgale GORS, 25th anniversary celebrated Rezekne dance ensemble “Dziga”.
During 25 years of work, under the positive influence of the folk dance and music, “Dziga” has raised almost 250 dancers and 25 years has been the time of the knowledge and experience development at the “Dziga” folk ensemble.
In the anniversary concert participated both age groups of “Dziga”. Musicians of “Dziga” ensemble will gather in one large “wedding orchestra”. Concert was enriched with the participation of the dance groups formed by the former dancers of “Dziga”, also performing the dances of “Dziga” (choreography by Ilmārs Dreļs):
