This will be the first time when Georgian ethno jazz band “Egari” that is popular in Europe and Russia performs on the stage of Embassy of Latgale GORS. They play traditional Georgian music in symbiosis with ethno and different modern melodies of other cultures. Music band is formed of professional musicians who involve ethno jazz, folk, improvisation, Georgian polyphonic singing, and elements of choreography in their performance. The play and vibrations of the antique instruments – panduri, chonguri, duduck, Georgian bagpipes, and other – bring the audience on extraordinary trip of the creativeness of the music.
The band was formed in May of 2009 in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. Members of the band have started their musical career as part of popular Georgian-German band “Shin” in 2007.
