Music band „IĻĢI” in the Easter Concert "SAULES MEITA un SPĒLĒJU, DANCOJU" (DAUGHTER OF THE SUN and I PLAYED AND DANCED).
During the first part of the concert visitors were able to hear complete „Saules meita” (“Daughter of the Sun”) – one of the most colorful and multiflorous albums of IĻĢI that has received the most prestigious award in Latvian music industry – The Grand Music Award. Every time the playing varies and you will be able to notice that in the Easter Concerts particularly. It will be a little bit different from the concerts fifteen years ago, but still has the same story, atmosphere, and energy.
The second part of the concert had the fragments of the most spectacular folk opera by IĻĢI with the poetry by Rainis “Spēlēju, dancoju” (“I Played and Danced”). This phantasmagoric mystery is usually called to be the most important opus by IĻĢI where the time and the centuries are engaged. The special guest – Irīna Rebhūna, will be singing Leldi and Zemesvēzītis.
