The seventh year in the row, continuing the tradition “with a tribute to the native land and a playful easiness in the music” we create the present for Latvia in order to celebrate the it`s birthday, November 2015 as the other years. With the inspiration from the Latvian Radio 2, it`s way to the audiences, starts a new musical program “FOR MY MOTHERLAND”.
The last year, the audience was reached by the program dedicated to 90`s in Latvia, but modified in new sounds – “My Song for Latvia”, “The Gold Songs from Latvian Film and Theatre Songs”, “Songs of an Independent Latvia”, “My Folk Songs”, the anniversary concert program “To My Motherland” dedicated to the anniversary of Jānis Peters. This year, in the celebratory atmosphere we bravely sang the songs about Latgale, Kurzeme, Vidzeme and Zemgale, Dagava, Gauja, Venta, Lielupe, Abava, the sea and lakes, about the cities and home, about the motherland, about everything that we feel truly proud of and wealthy for, knowing our existence and affiliation to Latvia.
This was an emotionally beautiful and musically unforgettable meeting with the outstanding musicians as Andris Ērglis, Viktors Lapčenoks, Antra Stafecka, Dainis Skutelis, Anmary, Normunds Zušs, singers from the Orange Choir (Anita Levša, Olga Stupiņa, Inta Ļaksa) and the Jubilee Orchestra under the lead of Jānis Strazds.
