New Cultural Canon

Already the for the second year, the competition about Latvian Cultural Canon for school youth had been organized in order to support the discussions about the Latvian cultural heritage and the values of arts, national identity and collective memory. The first regional competition took a place on January 17, in the Embassy of Latgale GORS. Two of the most successful teams – Rezekne Polish State Gymnasium and Rugaji Region Secondary School – are now announced and will be participating in the second part of the competition in Riga.
