On 11th September 2016 the traditional singing ensemble of the Latvian Culture Academy “Saucējas” with a joy announced the release of their traditional music album “Trīci, munu ustabeni” (“Shake My Room”), with 29 recorded songs of Ludza and Kārsava teritory. The participations of the ensemble are united by the common goal – study and popularization of the styles and techniques of Latvian traditional singing, a special attention paying to the local traditions well known in a form of the polyphony. The presentation of the album appeared in the form of the concert on the stage of the Embassy of Latgale GORS’ Great Hall.
