In 2016 the Wind Instrument Orchestra “Rezekne” celebrated their 25th anniversary. In honor of this event, on April 1st, the orchestra invited everyone to their jubilee concert held in the Embassy of Latgale GORS.
The first part of the concert presented the performance of the Wind Instrument Orchestra “Rezekne” under the lead of the conductors Segejs Sergejevs and Jānis Pavlovskis. The second part of the concert resounded the performance of the orchestra’s Big Band together with their Artistic Director Lauris Amantovs. For the very first time, together with Rezekne’s Big Band performed one of the most outstanding jazz singers Kristīne Prauliņa. Concert was enriched by the performance of the young talent from Rezekne – Māris Jefremovs, and well-known jazz singer who has already cooperated with the Big Bad in numerous projects – Diāna Pīrāgs.
