TANGO FROM BUENOS AIRES TO PARIS. Sinfonietta Rīga, Marselo Nisinman (Argentina)
Tango is the fruit of the city nights, something with its special bohemian aroma… Sleepless night wanderings through the narrow streets, cafes, and bars. This scene equally well fits with the image of Buenos Aires and Paris. Maybe this is the reason roads of many Argentinians rotates around these two metropolis. Amongst them is Marcelo Nisinman – the scholar and close family friend of the tango king Astor Piazzolla. In his creative activities, he continues the road begun by the great master. The reformatory ambition to Piazzolla’s ideas has grown and formed while spending time in Paris and studying with the legendary Nadia Boulanger, who was also played an important role in the life of Igor Stravisky.
